Make a good first impression and leave no minor details hanging or erroneous. The content of your covering letter must be meaty and at the same time concise. The covering letter sample must not be overflowing with details. But you must provide enough that the person reading it will want to know you more with it. Selectively pick the details in your resume that you consider to be worth highlighting and put them in your covering letter as a way of introducing yourself.
