It is a probability based survey use to access the target population and derive useful results from it. There are usually two types of sample surveys: The open-ended format and the close-ended format. The open-ended format uses the interview method for data collection and the close-ended format uses questionnaires for sampling purpose. Both are relevant and are use according to target population and the criterion. The most important thing that needs to be kept in mind is the formulation of the sampling process. Utmost attention should be given to it while doing so. It is the most important market research technique that is used.
A resume is the first impression a prospective employer has of you. And different employers prefer different types of resumes. There may be some who are very old school and prefer a plain piece of paper on one page. Others may appreciate a bit of creativity. These are just some of the items that can be evaluated as part of the competency section under performance appraisal. Keep in mind that format actually varies and that there are numerous items that you can add to make evaluation more detailed and useful.
